Hancom and Cyworld, Developing ‘Virtual Meeting Feature’ for Business

Dear Arowana community,

We would like to announce that Hancom and Cyworld Jet (the Cyworld operator) will jointly develop a virtual meeting room feature.

This virtual meeting room plans to become a new marketing channel for companies to communicate with customers by providing customer contact spots through showrooms and lounges where companies and customers can directly communicate.

In the development plan, Hancom will implement a virtual meeting room using technologies such as web editor and cloud collaboration, payment, and meeting, and Cyworld will sync with its social media platform, which will be reopened.

“Based on Cyworld’s unique sensibility and Hancom’s cloud collaboration technology, we will provide a third virtual space service to individual customers. We will strengthen our partnership through continuous cooperation, such as developing new services tailored to the needs of each company’s customer base,” said Kim Yeon-soo, CEO of Hancom.

This partnership will serve as a successful stepping stone for Hancom to expand its business into new fields and revival for Cyworld.
